What is being procured?

Gjøvik municipality has, together with Vestre Toten municipality, prepared a feasibility study for future sewage systems connected to Breiskallen RA at Raufoss and Rambekk RA in Gjøvik. The reason for the study is that the Government Manager, pursuring the EU's sewage directive and pollution regulations, has warned of stricter requirements for emissions of municipal sewage water. As a result of this, major investments must be made in new or upgrades/expanding the existing treatment facility in order for the municipalities ́ sewage services to fulfil these treatment requirements. The government administrator has notified a deadline to fulfil the new requirements by 2031.
