What is being procured?
The MHRA has a requirement to award a contract for The Provision and Maintenance of Two Mass Spectrometry systems to one Tenderer as replacements of two Triple Quad Mass Spectrometers (s/n TQH-Q1-0526 and TQH-Q1-0525) for quantification and characterisation of biological medicine standards, including influenza, and to support counterfeit and sub-potent medicine characterisation. These systems are to be purchased with service maintenance and any bespoke consumables required to run the systems as follows: System 1. A high-resolution mass spectrometer coupled with a low flow liquid chromatography (LC) system (hereinafter referred to as a “high resolution mass spectrometry system” or “HRMS system”).
