In Frankfurt am Main werden bereits seit einigen Jahren von der Stadtwerke Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt am Main mbH (nachstehend "VGF" genannt) Erneuerungen und Sanierungen der unterirdischen Verkehrsanlagen durchgeführt. Im Zuge dieser Maßnahme(n) wird auch das vorhandene, marode Wegeleitsystem (früher Infotransparente) gegen ein neues, energetisch besseres getauscht.
