L’obiettivo di FFS SA è di creare un centro di manutenzione per FFS Divisione Infrastruttura quale punto d’appoggio regionale per la pianificazione, l’organizzazione e l’esecuzione di tutti gli interventi di manutenzione e di perturbazione all’infrastruttura ferroviaria. Ciò include in particolare la manutenzione dei binari, delle linee di contatto, degli impianti di sicurezza e di telecomunicazione, nonché l’approntamento di personale, materiale e veicoli di intervento.
