Αντικείμενο της υπηρεσίας είναι o υποβρύχιος καθαρισμός στην λεκάνη της Νίδοβας και περιμετρικά της ζώνης του Αιτωλικού. Κατά τη διάρκεια των τελευταίων δεκαετιών, το υδάτινο οικοσύστημα της Λιμνοθάλασσας Μεσολογγίου - Αιτωλικού έχει δεχθεί έντονες ανθρώπινες παρεμβάσεις με αποτέλεσμα την υποβάθμισή του. Τα τελευταία έτη, διακρίνονται στερεά ογκώδη απορρίμματα στα όρια της.
