What is being procured?

Die Anfang der 2000er Jahre errichtete CN.as LWL-Kabelinfrastruktur erreicht in den nächsten Jahren das Ende ihrer technischen Lebensdauer und muss ersetzt werden. In den vergangenen Jahren wurden unter anderem aufgeplatzte Kabelmäntel festgestellt, durch die Feuchtigkeit bis zu den Kabel vordringen kann. Seitens der ASFINAG ist geplant, die bestehenden 96-faserigen ASF-1-Backbone-Kabel durch neue Kabel (z.B. 144-faserige ASF-4-Kabel) zu ersetzen. Das ASF-4-Kabel soll für die Datenübertragung der ASFGINAG (Backbone) und ggf. für die Vermietung an Drittkunden genutzt werden.
