What is being procured?

Under the awarded contract, DALO has purchased ten sets of unmanned aerial systems ("UAS") with strike ability. Each set contains five unmanned aerial vehicles ("UAV". The UAS will be used for operational tests. The sets include only training ammunition and thus, not live ammunition. The UAS are cybersecure and are therefore fit for military use. Renegade will also provide training on the use of the UAS under the contract. The tender was carried out under a DPS subject to the rules of the Defence and Security Directive (Directive 2009/81/EC). Due to platform-technical limitations, this notice incorrectly states that the legal basis for tender is Directive 2014/24/EU.
