What is being procured?
The required CPS and UPS modules, as well as the external battery modules, serve as power supply systems. They are installed in 19"-racks. These racks are located along the beamline of the Super-FRS (Superconducting Fragment Separator), either directly at the beamline or in niches. The Super-FRS is part of the FAIR accelerator facility (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research), which is currently under construction in Darmstadt, Germany.
