What is being procured?
Frøya municipality invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the deterrence of sitkagran in the Valen-Flatval area, as stage 2 of the municipality ́s work in combating the species. Sitkagran is classified with very high ecological risk and threatens, among other things, coastal clusters, where Frøya has a significant share of the country's mapped area. The assignment includes the production of up to 5,000 m³ sitkagran down to 4 cm in chest height diameter, with twigs, handling logging waste, terrain transport, transporting and improving terrain damage. In addition the contracting authority has the right to call-offs for up to 1,000 m³ at a unit price derived from the total price. Sitkagranen stands in small, scattered fields with poor load carrying capacity and proximity to buildings
