Para aquellas Estaciones depuradoras con capacidad de tratamiento superior a 100.000 hab equiv, es obligatorio realizar una notificación anual para el Registro Europeo de Emisiones y Transferencia de contaminantes (E-PRTR), lo que supone la realización de análisis de contaminantes en los vertidos de la EDAR Arroyo de la Miel, EDAR Fuengirola, EDAR Arroyo de la Víbora y EDAR Estepona.
