What is being procured?
LMETB is seeking proposals from interested service providers who wish to be considered for the provision of an Irish Sign Language Interpreter Service. The successful tenderer will provide qualified and experienced Irish Sign Language (ISL) interpreters to support learners who are Deaf or hard of hearing across a range of educational settings. Interpreters will be required to work in primary and post-primary schools, as well as in Further Education and Training (FET) colleges. Interpreting assignments will involve a broad variety of subject areas and learning environments, including both practical and theoretical modules. This may include, but is not limited to, academic subjects, vocational training, workshops, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and extracurricular activities. .
