What is being procured?
Dublin City Council aims to enhance the quality of life for its residents by developing an integrated Active Travel Network. This comprehensive network is designed to foster connections among individuals via pedestrian pathways, segregated cycle provision and other environmentally friendly transportation alternatives. The enhancement of accessibility and interconnectivity for people walking, wheeling and cycling within this network is anticipated to play a pivotal role in mitigating carbon emissions originating from transport activities. The Council’s objective is to augment the existing 40km network into a seamlessly connected 314km network spanning the entire city.
