What is being procured?
Background and purpose Arendal is located in the central part of Sørlandet. The municipality has approx. 46,000 inhabitants. Arendal municipality has a decentralised school structure with 16 municipal primary and secondary schools, organised as independent entities with separate rectors and management groups. The schools include both combined 1st - 10th schools and pure primary schools (1st - 7th years), as well as a resource centre with tenders across the stages. The municipality has a total of approx. 5,000 pupils in the primary and lower secondary schools. Arendal municipality is in an ongoing change of the school structure. Two primary schools (1st – 7th years) and the secondary school for one school have been decided to be folded. The changes are planned to be implemented from 01.01.2
