Momenteel bevinden Voortgezet onderwijs ISW Irenestraat, basisschool De Nieuwe Weg en Kinderopvang Simba zich op verschillende locaties in Poeldijk. Deze partijen gaan samen met de bibliotheek en enkele culturele voorzieningen in een nieuw te realiseren gebouw voor de Expeditie.
