What is being procured?
Atlantic Technological University (ATU) is seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake an energy retrofit project at its Galway City Dublin Road Campus. The project comprises the retrofit of approximately 4,425m² of the original 1972 building and forms part of the Higher Education Authority (HEA) and Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) funded Energy Efficiency and Decarbonisation Pathfinder Project (EEDPP2). The works include building fabric upgrades, roof and window replacement, ventilation improvements, lighting and controls upgrades, and the installation of a medium-temperature air-source heat pump, with existing gas boilers retained for peak demand and backup.
