What is being procured?
JRC-ISPRA both has in store and expects to produce during its decommissioning activities significant amounts of compactable waste. To minimise final disposal charges, suitable waste volume reduction options were evaluated. Based on cost-benefit studies, JRC-ISPRA has chosen to reduce the volume of its compactable waste by super-compaction and is now interested in renewing an external super-compaction service.
