What is being procured?

Pénurie Azactam wordt in de klinische praktijk voornamelijk ingezet voor de behandeling van infecties veroorzaakt door multiresistente kiemen, in het bijzonder metallo-β-lactamase (MBL)-producerende organismen, waarvoor geen volwaardige therapeutische alternatieven beschikbaar zijn. Het betreft ernstige infecties met een potentieel fataal verloop wanneer geen adequate behandeling voorhanden is.
