What is being procured?
ATU wishes to procure a Virtual Reality Bicycle Simulation Suite for research purposes. The suite will support interdisciplinary research in cycling behaviour, active travel, road safety, human factors, transport planning and sustainable mobility. It comprises the following elements: Standalone or PC-linked VR headset suitable for research applications, Direct-drive smart indoor trainer with integrated power and data collection capability, Controlled wind simulation system, Multi-channel data acquisition system with a minimum 4-channel capability (expandable), Direct-Drive Smart Bike Trainer (Outdoor / Independent Use).
