What is being procured?

The Tidal Zones River Bridge Project consists of crossing points over the Suir, Nore, Blackwater, Boyne, Slaney and Glyde rivers. This appointment is being put in place to consider the crossing points which are managed and funded by the Department of Transport in conjunction with the relevant Local Authorities. The Department of Transport is funding a bridge inspection program for each of the selected bridges along the Tidal Zone areas with a view of establishing the following: - The structural condition of each of the structures - Establishing a load rating on specific bridges - Identifying what maintenance work would be required (if any) on each of the bridges - Establish a maintenance plan for the bridges The bridges within the remit of this project are as follows: ID, County, Bridge BR
