What is being procured?

South Dublin County council seeks a suitable qualified operator to run Ballymount Civic Amenity. The prime purpose of the contract is to provide households in South Dublin County with additional waste recycling and recovery opportunities. Improved recycling in the County will help meet Regional and National targets which ultimately will lead to a better environment for all citizens. The Contractor will also make full provision for the supply of the required waste handling equipment, repairs, replacement and maintenance of the equipment and the infrastructure included on site. The site is subject to a Waste Licence granted by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the successful tenderer will be required to operate the facility strictly in accordance with the terms of this Licence.
