What is being procured?
The Universitys Building and Estates Department is responsible for the maintenance and management of all physical infrastructure on the 371 acres of grounds and property upon which the University campus is situated. To assist in this effort, facilities and grounds services are managed by external contractors on behalf of the department. In each case, the contractor shall be required to carry out installation, reinstatement and repair of Campus landscape hard works. The following is a sample of works but are not restricted to the following. • All types of paving/kerbing etc. • Traffic management • Emergency Action Plan implementation • Preparation for tarmac surfaces • Fencing • Bollards • In-situ seating • Bicycle Racks • Signage • Gates • Excavation in any ground conditions encountered ac
