What is being procured?

Short description of the contract: The objective of this contract is to contribute and provide support to Albanian railway sector to bring Albania’s policies and legislation in line with the EU acquis, and to build administrative capacity of the new railway authorities, bodies and companies established and operational, to implement sector policies and the adopted legislation fully and effectively through support in the following areas: 1. Prioritize and draft the railway legal framework, in line with the EU acquis. 2. Improve and strengthen the institutional capacities of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy (MIE) and other Albanian Railway Authorities, through capacity building activities, with special focus on approximation and implementation of the EU acquis.
