What is being procured?

Iarnród Éireann proposes to establish multi-party Qualification System for Civil Engineering Works associated with the upgrading of the railway infrastructure and other related works that that Iarnród Éireann may undertake directly or on behalf of Bus Éireann, Dublin Bus or CIÉ on their properties. The extent and details of these works will vary from location to location. All Project works shall be tendered to those companies approved for inclusion on the Qualification System. Examples of project works required may include but are not limited to any of the following: • Maintenance works to existing over and underbridges. • Construction of new railway underbridges or overbridges. • Alterations to existing railway underbridges or overbridges. • Coastal defence works. • Waterproofing works. •
