The Sustainable Development of the Mining Sector in Uganda (SDMU) project is co-financed by the European Union (EU) and Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and is implemented by GIZ in collaboration with Uganda"s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD) and its Departments of Geological Survey and Mines (DGSM).
