This specification sets out the requirements for refurbishment works to six-wheel (6x4) rigid tipper trucks, typically 26-tonne GVW, and haulage plant. The initial contract comprises 4 No. six-wheel (6x4) rigid tipper trucks, with provision for up to 3 No. additional units. The contract shall also include general steel fabrication repairs to Council-owned plant, together with maintenance and preventive works to Council-owned plant as instructed during the contract period. All works shall be carried out at the Contractor’s approved premises unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Council.
