Aarhus University seeks a contractor to carry out a large-scale airborne geophysical survey of the Rift Valley Basin in Ethiopia in early 2026, using a helicopter-based slung-load transient electromagnetic (TEM) system and magnetic instruments to map shallow and deep hydrogeological structures. Conducted in close partnership with the Ministry of Water and Energy of Ethiopia and Addis Ababa University, the survey aims to improve understanding of the Basin’s hydrogeological settings under different geological and environmental conditions.
