In accordance with the Specialist Health Services Act §2-1a, Helse Vest shall ensure that patients resilende in the Western Health Region are offered specialist health services. These services are provided partly through separate health companies and partly through contracts with private tenderers for specialist health services. Helse Vest would like to enter into a contract for services within ENT and vascular surgery from a private tenderer. Helse Vest undertakes this procurement primarily to relieve Helse Stavanger HF and reduce the accumulated waiting times in the health company.
