These services are provided partly through separate health companies and partly through contracts with private tenderers for specialist health services. Helse Vest would like to enter into a contract for services within ENT and vascular surgery from a private tenderer. Helse Vest undertakes this procurement primarily to relieve Helse Stavanger HF and reduce the accumulated waiting times in the health company.
