The Marine Institute requires the supply, installation, and commissioning of an automated Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) instrument, including a warranty and service contract covering a period of up to five (5) years from the date of instrument installation. The instrument will be used for the automated clean-up of shellfish extracts using Solid Phase Extraction techniques, including C18 and SPE-COOH ion-exchange cartridges. The resulting extracts will be analysed for marine toxins using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography with Fluorescence Detection (HPLC-FLD), primarily for the determination of regulated Paralytic Shellfish Toxins (PSTs). The proposed system must be capable of delivering reliable, reproducible, and efficient sample preparation to support routine marine biotoxin monitori
