This assignment seeks to undertake a systematic and evidence‑based assessment of bottlenecks affecting the supply chains of the 34 CRMs and 17 SRMs, as defined under EU policy frameworks, with a focus on strategic dependencies that could endanger EU economic resilience. The study will further identify practical, investment, policy‑relevant solutions and assess the extent to which existing EU Strategic CRM Projects contribute to mitigating the identified bottlenecks.
