This involves refurbishment of the auditorium, including a new roof structure, balcony/mezzanine seating, retractable seating, improved accessibility, and upgraded theatre lighting, AV, rigging and acoustic systems. Front-of-house areas are to be remodelled with an improved entrance, foyer, box office, bar, WCs and circulation, alongside upgrades to backstage areas, dressing rooms, Council offices and meeting facilities.
