The Strengthening Public Finances and Financial Markets II Project (FFM II), commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), supports the Government of Iraq in advancing key reform priorities in public finance, financial integrity, and financial sector development. The Project aims to improve revenue mobilisation, strengthen budgetary and oversight functions, enhance AML/CFT capacities, and contribute to a more resilient and inclusive banking sector in both Federal Iraq (FI) and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI). In doing so, FFM II helps reduce vulnerabilities to money laundering, terrorist financing, and other forms of Illicit Financial Flows (IFF). The objective of this consultancy is to support GIZ and its Iraqi partners - in particular the
