In cases where animals arrive into Ireland and are found to be non-compliant, the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine (DAFM) may wish to isolate these animals for a period of time, and DAFM is now seeking tender submissions from suitable persons who have the capacity to provide a quarantine facility for these animals. In the vast majority of cases the animals will be cats and dogs. The quarantine facility must be separate to any other animals including boarding kennels and must only accommodate animals sent by DAFM for the period required.
